1. The service

Bestly (“All for the BEST Local News”, at feelgood.seolith.com) is a community platform that turns positive local news stories into accessible comic-style short videos. By using Bestly you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

Some features (sharing stories, voting, commenting, notifications) require signing in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Your content

• You keep ownership of the stories you submit.
• By submitting a story, you grant Bestly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt (including generating comic panels, narration, and video from it), and display it as part of the service.
• Only submit content you have the right to share. Do not submit other people’s personal information without their consent.

4. Community rules — all for the BEST

Bestly is positivity-first. You agree not to post content that is:

• unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory;
• spam, advertising, or deceptive;
• sexually explicit, or depicting or encouraging violence or self-harm;
• infringing on anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
• deliberately false or misleading presented as local news.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

5. AI-generated media

Comic panels, narration, and videos are generated by automated systems from submitted stories. They are creative retellings, not verified journalism. Scores, badges, and leaderboard positions have no monetary value.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and community content does not represent our views.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bestly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for any content posted by community members.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
